LONDON -(Dow Jones)- U.K.-based food, ingredients and retail group Associated British Foods PLC (ABF.LN) Monday raised its full year guidance following strong trading in the second half, which helped lift adjusted operating profit in the period.
The U.K. food producer and retail group said it now expects progress in adjusted earnings, compared with guidance provided in July of flat adjusted profit, despite previously flagged higher interest charges.

September 7, 2009 – Food Safety & Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), the Government of India sponsored processed food regulatory organization, will soon to introduce a new regulation for procurement of raw materials for the food processing units in the country. EDMONTON — When Jodie McKague and husband Adam Larson buy groceries, they tend to shop along the perimeter of the store where fresh produce and meats are sold.
